Frugal Fridays- Menu Planning With Living Crazy in Montana

Frugal Fridays- Menu Planning
With Living Crazy in Montana

Do you plan a menu? Have you ever wanted to? If so what's stopping you?

I just started doing menu's a few months ago. I can tell you it really HELPS keep us on track for eating at home. There for while even though we couldn't afford it we were eating out way to much. There is many places you can print off printable menus. Or you can make your own. I normally just print mine off $5 Dinners she has some already pre made along with grocery lists and more.

We keep breakfast simple during the week. The weekends mostly Sundays I might cook something fancy like eggs and toast. Other wise its cereal, oatmeal, or breakfast bars.

Lunches depends on the day mostly sandwiches, mac and cheese, left overs, easy lunches as we homeschool and on the days i work it needs to be easy.

Dinners depends on the day. I plan of what's going on what nights. The nights Sage has Awanas is normally fend for yourself. Some days we do crock pot meals, some days its easy like breakfast for dinner.

Check every Monday for our weekly menu. While it doesn't change much maybe it will give you ideas?

What ever you do if you have it planned out it will help you save money in the long run! Not eating out, having meals ready to go into the crock pot, or freezer meals ready for the oven they all help to be frugal, eat better, and feed your family!
