Chicken Salsa Crock Pot Tacos

I have been looking for meals on Pinterest for dinners. I was able to stock up the cupboards and freezers recently so we are working on eatting more at home. I came accross a recipe for salsa chicken. You can make tacos with it or eat it over rice. Probably would be good over noodles also. I made ours into tacos.

So simple and easy! Put boneless chicken breasts or thighs in the crock pot. I did 5 bonesless thights and a cup and a half of salsa, no water. Cook on low for 6 hrs or high for about 3 hours.

The last hour shred the chicken and let it cook another hour.

Put on your tacos and enjoy! I would say drain the sauce I didn't the first time I made it and the juice ran out the end of the tacos and all over the plate.

This is a meal that you could make extra freeze the left overs and pull out for a easy to make meal one night.

Although Sage didn't care for it, she's picky eatter the husband and I loved it.
