Weekly Wrap Up 2-8-14

Shame on me for not getting this done sooner! It has been a crazy week!


English - We were bad and didn't do a spelling test this week! We are learning how to use a dictionary and every day I have Sage look up 5 new words and read the meaning to me. We have a awesome kids dictionary we found at the second hand store for $.50.

Math - Telling time and counting money! Sage LOVES money, she knows when she goes to the store if the total is $3 and she gives the cashier a $5 she'll get change back. We have been working on counting change. For telling time she is learning with a clock that has hands. We also watched a video about financial literacy for kids. 

Science - Science has been scattered lately, a little of this a little of that.

History - She is learning about Lewis and Clark, different animals they seen things they did on their journey. 

Reading - She is reading a Judy Blume book this week. 

Art - She has been making some of her own valentines. 

This last Saturday started the first day of cookie sales. She is up to almost 400 boxes already! Taking her around to ask people to buy cookies has made her not so shy, as she wants the incentives they get for selling cookies.
