Jerry had kept telling Sage when we moved she could have a bird. Well instead of a bird he agreed to let her have a turtle. She was so exited about it! When we went to Petco to get her turtle she told the lady she had been wishing on the big star for a turtle for awhile. No idea if Slider is a boy or girl but Sage says if it's a girl she will change its name.
Yesterday we took Slider out for a bit. We gave it a few days to get settled into it's new home (if only it knew above it was the piranha tank!). It was shy at first but then stuck it's head out and took off. Once Sage sat still it wasn't afraid of her at all!
It is still a baby, not sure how old but small, and will probably out live us all. Our newest addition to the Zoo.
